  • blah blah blah

Blame the mayor of New Orleans, not Bush. You people are so quick to make everything his fault, stop complaining and instead try to help people.

  • Everyone Is to Blame

Everyone knew it was coming. It is the city's fault for not getting the poor people out sooner. It's the Federal and State governments fault for not helping. It's the people's fault for not just leaving. Granted I realize some people couldn't leave, but there were others that could and should have gotten out of there sooner. Bush alone isn't too blame, and my friends are going to die of fright, but I don't blame Bush, he can't be respnsible for every city in the country, that is why we have different levels of government.

  • Could he have prevented such devastation? Yes.

The above opinion is useless because they're missing the point. It's not "could a mortal man have stopped a natural disaster" it's could a contries leader, in these times, have made this act of nature much less devastating. And the answer is yes. He couldn't stop the storm from coming, from being the grade that it was. BUT he could heed warning from scientist about warming in the gulf that made a storm like this inevible, he coulde have not cut the budget for levees to protect these places from such horrible flooding, he could have not sent our National Guard away to pointless and unlawful wars so that there would be SOMEONE to help these poor people, he could have accepted the foreign aid instead of just snubbing our fellow countries, he could have done much much more. He didn't.
