Ghosts...need I say more?Voted for by questioningsoul.
I know what you are thinking "This girl is crazy." but why me? Air is real, is it not? But we have no solid proof that I see. Some people belive God is real? Why not think them crazy? But to my point. When you die your energy is released. You roam the earth in the form of an orb(ball of energy) or spirit("ghost" can see physical form) in search of the answers to our questions. That's that.

Im sick of the Christians calling those who believe in reincarnation a fool. As far as I’m concerned anyone who claims they know more than the other is the fool. Its fun to be creative and imagine how death may be, but when you get to the point of certainty is when you are full of lies.

A new godVoted for by XxSephirothxX.
First lets start with the facts....
First, Time is relative to the person mesuring it, To one person 10 minutes can feel like 10 minutes or and hour. To us crushing a fly between our palms is something we can do between a heartbeat, but to the fly it probally seems like slowmotion.
Second, When a person "dies" his brain is still active for about 15 to 20 minutes.. In which you are still able to think coinsciencely and make thoughts. In this time you cant see, hear, taste or smell. All you know is that you exsist. The mind begins to create halucinations to your strongest memories, your family, the places you've gone, to keep you sane. Now all this is happening in miliseconds, but to you it is as if this took decades of time. Soon these hallucinations turn into tangible objects, moving without being told to. In essance a new world.
And lastly. In the BIBLE they say god created us in his image... A human....creating humans....Coinscidence? maybe.

DreamVoted for by enigma2.
I believe that physically, our bodies sit in the ground and get a little, ahem, "musty". Spiritually, I have no idea what happens. My best guess would that death is like sleep, full of dreams of our own perception of the afterlife. Some may think this sounds pessimistic, and maybe think that I should hope for some sort of "life after death". However, it is physically impossible for our dead bodies to get up and go somewhere, or be transported anywhere, whether it be up or down. The "afterlife" is entirely mental; an eternal dream.
