I completely believe it is the woman's (and ONLY her) choice to have an abortion. If the baby was entering into a unwelcoming family, an abortion is a good option. A 16-year-old girl doesn't need the trama of going through child birth and then giving up her child. Abortion is much easier. It is not a baby until it takes its first breath of air...I believe it's first breath gives it its soul -- until then it is merely a fetus.

I'm Pro choice. Why? Well because I live by the saying "I do not agree with what you say but I will defend to the death your right to say it." -Voltaire. I do not like Abortions and I wish it didn't happen but What gives me the right to tell someone what they should be doing with THIER child.

This is a good qestion. I am so happy I found this and it's going to be long. So sit back and listen. I think that abortion is a really flexible subject. Although, I am totaly 100% pro-choice. I believe that it is wrong for the simple point of it being murder. And that it totally illegal. I mean you all are familiar with the Scott Peterson case right? Well if you are not, he killed his nine month pregnant wife. And it was consitered a double-murder, because her unborn fetus was due any day. And the fact that he could survive on his own it was consitered murder. I believe that to be correct. It should be consitered murder. And I don't understand how someone can say that an unborn fetus that is three months isn't murder, it is still a potential human. I mean what has our economy come too? 9 month old fetus=murder. 3 month old fetus=abortion?? WHAT!! That is so unreal it makes me want to find the people thta made it legal and hunt them down and stick a needle in their brain!! I mean really, even if they do not feel pain, it's still MURDER!! I mean you could kill someone with a shot in the brain, they could die instantly, feel no pain, and it's still murder. Society is so imperfect, but couldn't we at least improve a little by making it illegal? Granted, people are still going to do it, but less would do it. There is also the subject that comes to mind, rape. Rape is aweful, I get that. Okay, I'm an ignorant 14 year old..But I think it B.S. If you don't want a child, give it to a couple who can not have a child. That would work. It would be just as regretful as an abortion, to tell you the truth, I would rather live with the fact of giving a baby up for adoption, then living with MURDER. And as I so eloquenly it murder, because it is!! Honestly. And those women who have sex and casually abort fetuses, shame on you! I mean really. That pisses me off. I'm sorry biut it does. It's tough to decide how you feel because of the many circumstances, however I am pro-choice, because a woman has the right to do what she pleases to her body. I do not believe that abortion should be used as a form of birth control though.

I want to know if this 'child'is part of you and is a human how can we kill parasites like ticks or something that attach to you this 'child' is a parasite. People keep saying that were killing off Americans or think of the child. Their not a child. How can we worry about these humans who have not yet learned of the world when we have kids in Mexico living in dumps because their not wanted, or little girls in china are left for death if the orphanage is full or if there sick, Think about the kids who are beaten or in foster homes here in America or those that live on the streets because they don't know where they can go. Shouldn't we help these kids before worring about those unborn? I don't care if you have an abortion or not but we need to keep it legal because how can a man tell a women what to do with her body?
