  • None are correct!
I simply believe in one less god than you do.
When you understand why you don't believe in all the other gods you will understand why I don't believe in yours.

God is as real as I am', the old man said. I was relieved since I knew Santa wouldn't lie to me...

  • hmmm...
Whether a religion is correct against the others is arguable; however, I think all religions are useless. They are medieval science, nothing more. Science has proved (like medicine) to be more reliable than religious faith. Religion should be thrown out like an old computer.

  • one
I think there is such a thing as the correct religion, and that one being almost every religion I am familiar with.
What I mean to say is that all religions drop back eventually to some basic viewpoints on life, living, afterlife, etc... They mostly being, be good to your neighbour, love yourself, love God (Allah, Yahweh, etc...). These are in most religions some of the major points. I think (though I am catholic), that if you treat your neighbour as you treat yourself, if you love the world, and if you avert yourself from (what most people call ) evil. Then you are on the right path, and any God up there will judge you worthy of your actions.
Course, I could always be wrong!

  • WHAT?? there is no correct religion
There is no religion greater than another.
What would make a religion greater than another? why are they all different in the first place?

Personally, i have no religion. I have beliefs. Religion divides people, A belief in something and spirituality brings people together. A christian may think their religion is the most correct, A jew may think their way of life is most correct, but neither are. The are just different ways of life, a way in which humans form some sense of structure, a way to enforce morals and teach the more "acceptable" way of living. Once humans realize this, once humans realize that we are all striving for the same thing but just in different ways, once humans realize that religion is also a way in which ppl in higher positions can control the masses, maybe wars would end and uneccassary conflict would be prevented

  • Fear
Spawned of fear from the beginings of complex communication and feeling in the fibers of civilization. I feel the most likely reason for faith was Lack Of Faith, man not trusting his neighbor to care about him and all people as he does (empathy for human or advanced life) creating sparks of tension in the compounds of fragil society. Paranoias and superstitions in households reign until a "prophet" has a reckoning of "THE ONE TRUE FAITH".
There is no true faith but fear, and love of each other.
We all wish life and prosperity for our human brothers, don't ruin it, please.

  • No correct religion.
Religion implies faith. Correct faith is an oxymoron. Faith is belief in something unproven or unprovable. You can't assign a truth value to it. Be the value 'correct' or 'incorrect'

  • Belief is the thief
Whether in science, religion, or in any matter of perception or opinion, flexibility of the mind should not be abandoned. Any belief system that does not allow for our profoundly oblivious world-view at any given time will find itself useless if that world in which one exists changes in the least. We need to know that truth is much more mutable than we can imagine. The mind has a mind of its own. There is only one-true-Bob, and you'd pay money to know what you really think. The Church of the Subgenius is something to check out, if you're still thinking about "one true anything."

  • Truth is not in religion
truth is in the heart and in the mind and in the soul. Religion is just the rote expression of a belief system, which is as insugnificant to God as the color of ones clothes. God does not want meaningless, lip-service prayers, no matter how often you repeat them. God does not want you to pencil him in for a regular appointment on Sunday morning or whenever. God is not impressed by how big of a bible you have, especially if you don't even read it, or only read those parts that support your point of view. God is not impressed by crucifixes, six-pointed stars, crescents, shiva-lingams, or any other trappings that people use to proclaim themselves devout.

God wants you to give your heart to him, your mind to him and your soul to him. Anything else is just garbage. God is not going to ask you, when you face him on the final judgement, what religion you were. He is going to ask what good you did. That is what you need to think about before then.

Logic is the only religion that brings maximum help and minimum harm.

But everyone believes their own religion it the best, so who am I to stand out? Atheism with a bit of thought.

  • All of them.
I am Christian, there are many forms of Christianity. I think that all religions speak basically the same things, just in different wording. All except Satanism, because that teaches you to only care about your own needs, and wants. Pick the right one for you, so long as it follows goodness, it's only a name.
