There are many different debates going on about abortion on this site. The main thing that seems to be the conflicting fact that people cannot agree on is at what stage the entity is a human being. At conception is one of the extreme views. The others expand from that increasing in length of time. Here's the question for you to answer with your beliefs: At What Point Is The Entity Created By Heterosexual Procreation Classified As A New, Unique Human Being? Scientific studies are not required, this is really a matter of belief; but if you have any that you feel would add to the subject matter please, share them.

A baby is always a baby, but when is it a functioning life form is another question. When there is brain activity and the baby moves on it's own, that's when I think it is truely a being.

You want a number. You want the exact time when a baby is declared a baby like you want the age of consent to be one minute past midnight on your eighteenth birthdate. Scientifically, I don't know when a baby should be declared a baby that is eligible for abortion or not. Personally, I feel that a baby is not in this world until it is cut from its umbilical cord.
As far as a baby being human, that takes lifetimes.
