I don't do drugs and don't plan on doing them, but I think that they should be legal. Why? Well, the pharmacuticals that doctors prescribe are just as bad if not worse than many illegal drugs. Through my studies I have discovered that Viagra is more dangerous than marajuana. I think marajuan is illegal because the government can't profit from it. Anyone can grow marajuana because it is a weed, and just like other weeds, it thrives easily. It is not made through some complicate process that requires complicated factories and drugs that no one know of. If marajuana was legal, so many people would stop smoking cigs and smoke mary jane because they wouldn't have to pay for it. They could just pick it up off the side of the road and pot down in their backyards.

Pot is not legal because booze is...and the goverment makes a lot of money off of booze and none off of pot.

Honestly, and I don't like drugs in the SLIGHTEST, but legalizing Pot would be a good thing. Then they could tax it like they do cigaretes or booze. And the amount of law enforcement recources that it takes to deal with these petty crimes would be given to other things which are perhaps, a higher priority. Same DUI laws, so same standards. Just make it like booze, and we'd all be better off I think.

Opinion: Its a drug with the side effects similar of alchol like memory and learning; distorted perception; difficulty in thinking and problem solving; loss of coordination. Dont need more people to die.

wat about legalising marijuana, and keeping it onder state control, and taxing it execively. that way the govt. can get a couple of more pennys and we wont hve stoned people driving in rush hour.pfcourse it would require a lot of efforts to clean up illegal planting and sale. so the best option is still to let us have our joints and not make a fuss bout it.if drinkin is legal so should smoking up be. just keep the laws about drinking and driving and indecent behaviour in public and apply it to marijuana. that way evry =bodys happy.
