My dear Friends
I read with great regret, the opinions one has on death. The fallacies that are being spread. It was, to be very frank, very disappointing..

I know that I have no right to criticise but in
such an important topic i thought that answers would at least be based on great contemplation and thoughtful appreciation or criticism. Logic and Reason is something that was not reflected in all those choice comments or replies.

I was declared dead......... when i got drowned. I was swiming in a river canal. The guys who pulled my body out was really not in a position to tell whether i was dead or alive... They tried everything possible to revive me back to consciousness but, no chance. I was being rushed to the nearest hospital, 4 kms away, when i got my consciousness back.
The time between my state of losing consciousness may have been 5-8 minutes. I do not exactly know how much time may have elapsed. And...there are a whole lot of things that happenned which i can narrate of my experince within my mind, and the eventsstories that was told to me later... in those intervening period between life and death.
But i think it should suffice for the present discussion....that my village folkes and family came in truck loads to see me dead..... when in fact, only the two who put me into an auto-rickshaw and who was rushing me to the hospital knew that i got my consciousness back and that I was alive. (Whether it was miracle or good luck depends on perceptions, beliefs and imaginations.) A-Live. What a expression.

Being Alive and Being Dead are considered the opposites. But both are a state of Being.

In the former, Being Alive means having consciousness. Being Conscious means to have thoughts and the senses that shapes and gives meanings and expressions to the thoughts either through words or images.
Thoughts means the faculty in thinking animals to
discern the data of the senses with respect to the environment in the brain. The entire phenomenal world around us is perceived by mind according to the thought-senses and the form in which it is stored in memory. This is knowledge.

Now, if any being dies, it means it is in the state of being dead.
It means that life has left the body. That is the body and brain both are dead.
When the brain dies consciousness also goes. Thats when we say 'life leaves the body'...(I know there are quite a few who will bring the soul argument here but let us not confuse things, we will deal with that later)

Once consciousness goes away, there is nothing else to call the being in the state of rest, but refer 'it' as a 'dead body' or a 'lifeless body.' It is similar to a dead tree.. There is form and shape but no life.

Therefore, both the dead tree and a dead human body becomes dust. So also says the Bible

Therefore, there is no afterlife, reincarnation, heaven or hell experience after someone or being dies.

Why fear death? .... If birth is the beginning, death is the end. Its a Full Stop in Actuality.

Nothing. Everybody wants to believe that their is an after life because the thought of non existance scares them. Either they will turn to religion to better comfort them and believe they will get everything they ever wanted and be blissfully happy all the time (sounds like someone didnt get what they wanted out of life) or athiests try and believe in the science of the "energy" called the soul in your body that leaves after death and supposibly takes your conciousness with you. When you die your conciousness does not go with you, energy does not hold your thoughts and memories and decisions, your brain does. When you die, just like anything els in this universe, your energy gets recycled and reused by other sources that use energy. This is only an opinion of one individual, but one fact that you still cannot deny, the human race has dulled down anything that scares them or found a way to counter that fear or supress it(anything so they dont have to face it), death is just somthing that humans cannot prevent(well actually i cannot say that because it is quite possible to prevent death through neuron stimulators and stem cells, but that would be very expensive). so people come up with many random theorys about it trying to make us feel like we have "controll" (because there is nothing more us humans like then power and controll over situations to make us feel important and special).
The earth used to be in the center of the universe, god used to be in the clouds, then he moved to beyond the blue sky, then he moved to another dimention, religion will always stay 1 step away just to avoid facing the truth. Religion, Astronomy, Science all started as one, now science and astronomy(looked at through logic and math base) is now pretty much evil in the eyes of a loyal to god.

Death really isn't so much a turning point in our life as it is an ultimate goal. The only thing that we HAVE to do is die. It's the main purpose of life. In many religions, death is when the fate of ones' soul is determined. But such a turning point is meaningless, since you won't remember anything from this life anyway.

Take your choice, place your bets, your gonna be right or wrong

death is a bounty for those who believe life is already understood and defined. death is an ultimate mystery. seems silly to spend my living days deep in ponder as to the ethereal orgins and proprties of death.
