Destiny - who controls it?

What is destiny/fate and who controls it?

Can you choose your own future or is it already planned out ahead of time? Are there actual answer to these questions? I like to believe that I have some control over my decisions but at certain times dragged by the wills of a higher being (God) or force that I cannot see but is there all the while. What are some other opinions?

    i think we controll destiny because you can only get a reaction if act.what i mean is if we don't do anything theres no possibal way that so called destiny could happen.

    personally i dont believe in destiny because, every movie and anything else involves someones "destiny" but i think that maybe our path of life is written on our palms...leading to palm reading...but i also think that things in our lives alter our future so basically its like those childrens novels where you choose the path you go and it changes the situations faced...
