Pro life is not anti-abortion, it is different criteria for abortions and taking the decision away from the woman. Is that what you really want? What about freedom and rights? Just thought someone should ask.

people should have a right to choose. BUT i dont think that people should be clumsy because they know that they can get rid of the baby if theres an accident or something.

i dont think abortion is a good choice. abortion is killing babies which is murder. i do not agree. if you dont want the baby put it up for adoption but its MURDER

In my upmost honest opinion I can’t say if whether or not I’m for it or against it cause for someone like me i can’t nor have room to say what people want to do. But when looked at from all points of view, there could be many reasons as to why someone would want to terminate a baby like for instance health reasons that can be serious to down right fatal. And as for President Bush, its safe to say that over HALF the the US doesn’t like nor favor him at all and as to why people would reelect him back to office well they all must have rocks for brains and not to mention Bush doesn’t and refuses that there are other religions out there that don’t follow God(exaganism)and does NOT approve of gay marriages and yet he says that he accepts gay people what is wrong with that huh???

I am 100% prolife! Have you ever had or heard a sonygram when the mother was only a few weeks along? The heart is beating. Have you seen the pictures of the baby? The babe has fingers, toes, hair, etc. Abortion is MURDER! Where is the babies right to live? If you don’t want the baby, don’t have SEX! If it isn’t your fault (rape) and you don’t the babe, give them up for adoption! Let the baby have a life! The Scott Peterson case was ruled on a s a double homicide! I hate abortion..I think it is very wrong..I mean if you dont want the child put it up for adoption..Dont kill it for no reason..I mean I think you should not be so selfish and i think its a selfish that is selfish to do that..and Why would u create something just to destroy it? Abortion can be classified as murder or can be classified as saving. I believe that abortion is okay in SOME instances like a. the mother will die if brought to term b. the mother’s health(mental/physical)is in jeopardy c. the fetus is a result of rape

Other than that, NO I think that abortion is wrong. It is not to be used as means for birth control. While it is up to the mother to decide what is best for her and her baby, you have to take into consideration the age of the mother too. A younger girl is more likely to consider abortion as a easy way of getting out. The more younger, the more immature the decision is.

i still stand by myself and support myself. and if its been done before, teen girls becoming pregnant and managing to raise the child, then congragulations to them. but i still believe that if a girl is a teenager and wishes not to have a baby, if she becomes pregnant, then she should have the choice to have an abortion. teenagers dont need that responsibility, but i know somebody out there is gonna say if she is old enough to have sex, then she is old enough to accept the consequences, then whatever. she will obviously realize shes too young to have sex once she gets pregnant and needs to kill a life. but i cant speak, i havent been pregnant. thank goodness. peace and love <3 -ashley

Why would you need to have an abortion? If you have safe sex or better yet don’t have sex you wouldn’t have to worry about it. Even though the child is not yet born it is still living.It’s not right for me to kill you so why would it be right to go and kill my own kid?

Men have had their share of doing what they want, having their choice. And they don’t know what it is like to carry a baby, so some of them could probably just give a shit less. Yes, abortion is killing a baby. Its breathing, eating, sleeping, all that stuff although it isn’t fully grown yet. But I believe that it is the womans choice. Think about a rape victim, she didn’t want to be raped, and she certainly don’t want the baby of her rapist, why should she have to keep it? And what about when you were wearing a comdom and it broke? Here your trying to prevent getting pregnant because you don’t want to get pregnant and then you do. it’s all the womans choice. If she wants to have an abortion, she should be able to. The people that are mad and bitch about the baby being killed, go to an adoption agency.

I think that it’s totally up to the mother. Having a child when your a teen takes a huge chunk out of that persons life. We can’t befriend a person because they got an abortion. It would never make them heartless or even selfish, it was the choice their act, and they can live with that. She may have done it for her families sake, or the sake of others. Like the reasearch they use to help the handicapped. It’ll never be our choice to say, “Hey, that’s not right! Go have that baby! It doesn’t matter if there isn’t any support!” When the time comes and that motehr chooses what she chooses, then that was her choice, her reason, not ours. Never our choice to judge that girl, or take that right from her. So, I agree with abortion, but not as a brutal life of living, but as a choice of living.

I think abortion is rong, it is killing a little person, at 6 weeks old they get a brain, and can feel things. Its worse then killin a living person, becuz at least a living person has had a little chance 2 live!.

okay, people may say abortion is right. but i have a different view on it. i hear people saying that they would have abortion because they wouldn’t want to give them up for adoption and have to live with the fact that thier parents didn’t want them. well, abortion….hello? people that are aborted are taken the right of even having that feeling. there is no hope for them in life. i was going to be aborted. and im happy i wasn’t. i died the day i found out that i was going to. my dad wanted me dead, but my mom actually wanted me alive. that meens alot to me. and i value life day by day. im not going to run up to someone and stop them from doing so, but i honestly wish i could. you may think that because thier unborn, they won’t understand, but had you given them the chance to they would have.

i think that when it is in the case of someone just up and wanting to abort a child for no good reason i think that they shoudl not be able to. they should be gien the option of giving the baby up for adoption but not aborting it. especially when it is in the later stages of development. that in my opinion is not right, it is a life then and can actually feel things. but also there are times when a women is truley an unfit mother and shouldnt be given a child for the sake of that child. there are too many instances of child abuse and so many other things that can just cause so many bad things in the world for a child. i think a women should also have a choice if she was raped, that wasnt her choice to have sex and to get pregnant so therefore i think that she should be able to abort the life… but in all instances i still think it is horrible that an innocant life has to be aborted.especially in today’s world of ease, people go in all of the time wiht the excuse of “Oops…?” and i think that isnt a logical explination and doctors have come up with a pill that allows woment to abort their children. that is horrible and that the society is running off of sex and pills and people wonder why children are becoming more sexually active at a young age, it is because of the examples set by their society and the people they look up to. i mean, how many condom comercials or male enhancement comercials or birth control comercials can you count withinthe matter or 30 min. probably about 10 right? that’s unbelieve able concidering in the late 80’s was when the first condom comercial appeared on tv. i think that abortion is the result of our over-sexed society…

Personally, I think that abortion should only be allowed in specific cases, such as if it is a health risk to the mother, or the child. also, i think that if you have not yet graduated highschool, or if you are too young or there is no way that you would possible be able to raise the child and your only choice would be to put it up for adoption, it should be allowed. other than that, it should not be a choice for mothers, especially those who go and fool around and just figure they will get an abortion to solve all their problems. that should not be allowed.

I believe that using abortion as a source of birth control is completely wrong and damn stupid. I am completely against abortion when it comes to women getting aborted because they want to sleep around and discard protection. But, if a young woman or any woman for that matter is beaten and raped and is impregnated as a result of a hateful crime and physical violation, then i would approve of abortion. Rape is no way to bring a child into the world.

What did the poor child ever do wrong to deserve to die? It is a life. And it was not it’s fault it was made it is always the fault of some careless person. Whether its rape or just un-safe sex it was someone elses bad decison and they should take responsibility or choose another alternative.

This month’s issue of the NG has a wonderful article about the human brain. My belief is that we are really the contents of our brain, the person does not really exist until well after birth when enough information has been acquired so that the little critter has a personality. Is there really a difference in a person from one side of the vagina to the other? I don’t think so… I mean besides the fact the he or she is able to breathe air and take nourishment through the mouth rather than the imbillical cord. When you make a decision as to whether or not you are killing a person, you should take this into account. Does that mean it is ok to suck the baby’s brains out even after he or she is born? No, not really, because then you are, according to the law, dealing with murder. I’m just making a point. I personally don’t believe in killing any beings, plant or animal but if we are not careful and allow our species to continue its rapid, geometric multiplication, there will be nothing else left for us to eat on this planet but little babies… right… Easter Island history tells us that canabalism will be our only source of food. So go on, have your discussions, have your laws, have your conspicuous consumption and your children’s children will have each other.
