Why is so hard for us to believe in Christ when HE believed in us so Hard He was shamed and KILLED?

As human being we choose to believe everything else that shoved down our throats but we live every day doubting the love or even the existance of Jesus Christ...who is that comforts you when noone is there who gives you hope when you are convinced a situation is hopeless....whose peace do you feel when havoc seems to be daily bread...why it so hard to believe in the great fortune who is Christ and so easy to believe in curses and voodo and all those thing whose power is virtually none existed because nothing compares to the love and power of Our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ

  • Proof of Christ's existence - His resurrection
2000 years ago, Christ showed Himself to His disciples after His resurrection (with the wounds of the crucifixion)...

2000 years ago, those same disciples testified to the resurrection before pagan officials who forced them to renounce their Faith (thus saying that Jesus never resurrected). But those very disciples never gave in, and were martyred. Now, if YOU had never seen the resurrected Christ, surely you would renounce your faith, thus avoiding martyrdom (you never even saw Him, so why stick to that belief?). But Jesus' disciples spread the good news throughout Palestine, Greece, and even Rome! If they never knew and had never seen the resurrected Christ, I'm sure they wouldn't have bothered to do all that - much less to die in testifying Christ's love.

  • He wasn't the first one...
There were many martyrs. He died for something that people couldn't see, people believed him, and so he became a religious symbol. Many other martyrs died for less and they don't get remembered as much.... actually, now that i think about it, that's alittle unfair. People actually die for things that can be proven, like that one teacher in VA Tech who sheilded his students from bullets with his body so they could escape. Why isn't he remebered? If you ask me that calls for sometype of sainthood.

Besides the fact that you're argument is not an argument, here is the problem with it.

Hitler believed in the Aryan race's ascension and the destruction of the Jews, he believed in these things so powerfully that he was shamed, defeated and killed - all because he wouldn't give up on the Aryan people. So why is it so hard for us to accept Nazism, when Hitler believed in us (non-Jewish Aryan peoples) so strongly that he was shamed and killed?

Now, I know that is not exactly paralell with your argument, but it uses just the same faulty reasoning as you.
