what exactly do you think a demon is, some horrible creature from hell here only to spread chaos, or do you think it is possible that today there could be a demon with good morals. Do you even believe that they're out there? Are demons good or evil?

I think that demons are 'satans' followers and minions in which Angels are 'gods' followers and praisers. I believe that demons and angels walk umong us on earth and influence what happens in our world. So in a way demons are evil.

Faultlessly, Evil.I have a rather odd opinion on the whole demon topic. As a long running Paranormal Investigator, I've run into my share of Demonic claims/infestations in homes and businesses; even cemeteries. And from what I've come across, and what I've perceived, I believe that Demons are a force more than they are a being. Let me explain.9% Voted for by A Dream in Crisis, ppolis.
There's one location that I was in recently. It was a home that was stricken by a tragedy, the suicide of a 19 year old boy by hanging. He was seeing a psychiatrist for what we inferred to be depression/anxiety, and the medication and brief chats he got from his counselor weren't enough to derail his train of thought. Unfortunately, not enough to save him.
Now before I go on, I want to make one thing clear. No. I do NOT think I'm clairvoyant, sensitive, or otherwise "in-tune" with the spirits any more than you yourself are. (After all, we all are to an extent). Just to make this crystal clear before we jump to conclusions (^:
When I was upstairs in the boy's bedroom during the investigation (mind you the room they remodeled into a shrine of sorts for him), it was almost unbearable. There was a terrible weight in my chest, God-awful anxiety, and waves of vertigo that damn near shoved me off my feet. It was as if all of the boy's frusterations, his anger, his sadness, his desperation and his faithlessness.. was running into me at once. It felt as though there was a presence there that wasn't him, but the very embodiment of all the emotions that killed him.
That, is what I believe to be a demon.
Consider this. I am Wiccan, practicing proud, and have been for several years now. I ask you to have an open mind with me for a moment, and go with this theory. (Which is, consequently, all it can be).
As a Wiccan follower, I do not believe in an Ultimate force of evil. I do not believe in Satan or his Kingdom. I believe that human kind creates its own evil, and that evil exists in this world of its own accord and creation. Nature itself is good and evil. It gives life, and it takes it. Death and suffering, consequently, are necessary evils that would throw the world as we know it off kilter. As hard as that may be to believe.
One way or another, there're my two cents on the topic. (^: That's been almost a lifelong creed for me, and I intend to follow it whole-heartedly. Of course I could be wrong, truthfully we could all be wrong, but when it comes down to it we're doing the best we can. Hold onto your theory, I'll ponder yours you dwell on mine. Demons to me are demons. Exactly in the name. Minature spawns of Satan, and I'm not even going to say "if you a christian" ,its a fact. I've witnessed proof. The point is, that out entire would is a big jumbo cosmo of good and evil. Every topic is faced with a positive and negative. One person may thing its good while another bad, because in each others eyes the only thing we see is each other. But we never feel each other like we should. If your skinny and have never been fat, is it right to say over weighted people are pigs or cows? And if you are over weight is it right to be self conscious around the skinnier and in your opinion more pretty and call them belemic? No its not, but what is right is looking at someone totally different than you and excepting who they are, how they act with out contrasting the pros and cons of being there friend and how much gossip you can win off of the relationship. Its all demons and angels. Angels is with what ever God you believe in, though I am Christian and Demons is something of the mind created by the ultimate opposite of good. Evil. Its typos are regretively confusing, I know but the truth is that demons are bad. Demons. What a vast subject: they confuse, whisper words, try to help on the wrong path, sneak in thoughts and tell you what to think. They seem to never end. And they can't. But if you agree with me then you must also agree that if there is evil there is good. We have all witnessed both in our lives. So if demons are bad, then Angels are good. The friendly, the helpful, the blessed and the watchful. They are servants of God, not leaders. And this may sound like I am a church goer, but I am not as it is. I wish I was but Im not. I pray with my heart and I believe. This is only my personal opinion, nothing more.

you will always acounter demons because this world isn't perfect its not all good there are bad which is sin and demons the satans angels are workers to prevent us from going to heaven. If one askes for scientific which is not a great time to ask that espeacially when we're in a war zone where in the revolution it speaks about the comming of Jesus and of signs like the weatrhers, war with war these has already manifested. ANyways in the bible it says you can not aunderstnad all things. Satan is trying to miss up our minds. Demons are ghost from satan. There are two types of ghost the holy ghost which is Jesus which in Revolution he says how he will leave someone in our heart so we no longer have to slay the lamb but pray and ask for forgivness to God. The other is the demons. If your not protected by god meaning not clense of your sin and vowed to stand with him try not to sin only do righteous try to do goodness and god knows if you are . he knows everything but you have a chose to if you want. If not the fire pit is waiting which the devil wants you to be with him. He is right not standing and laughing trying to put demons in the way. You may not see it but even if your a christian like my grandfather a filled with the holy ghost man he see them and he rebuke. "I rebuke you in the name of Jesus" and they left but if your not clense of sin choosing to follow Jesus and him alone then if you see a demon ghost such evil things satan has put then you might die or not but it may go inside you and you can't take it out and you will stop others from believeing in God. Remember the armor of God is too protect defese against the emey Your ememy satan for it's all our enemys. DOn't be fooled. Follow christ go to heaven.

I think personally if we look at the story of the bible – or any story, in that matter involving angels and demons – demons are fallen angels. Mostly thought of as spirits, but occasionally as animal like creatures. If we think about the makeup of this, however, demons once being angels. If recreation is the same as with humans … Two beings making another, then it is simple enough to say that demons can be good or evil. If a demon mates with an angel, or a human, it has a high chance of turning out good. However, we are certain on these theories as we never can be. But a demon, is mainly thought of as evil… But it does not mean they all are. I would think them more like polteights, disturbed spirits. But it depends how you look at it.

Demons i think are confused; They devil has them convinced they will rule all or whatever; But there is a verse in the bible that states demons fear God. So it is an interesting topic to bring up...Lucifer or the devil, is apperently a fallin angle; So maybe demons are thoose that followed; No one will ever no; or maybe someone does??

there isn't good or evil they are both mad by the church and what is there to that good and bad sin and saint a sin is a bad thing a sin was mad by the church so what was be fore that what were the morals? and what did poeple do that was bad or good did those words even exist? they never was a sin or saint before christanity so there shouldn't be them now unless you're a christain

There is no definite answer to that. It's like asking if humans are good or evil. There are good humans and there are evil humans, and then there are not evil, but selfish, greedy humans, and everything in between.
Some demons, which can be defined as fallen angels, spirits, or just plain creatures from another dimension, are good, and some are bad, and some in between. They're human in that way.

DEMONS ARE NOT THINK BUT ARE EVIL. I believe that word was derived from the principle of the matter the source the bible. In it it contains any demons. Demons are of the devil. FOr my religion christianity teaches that the devil uses these evil angels as his source to throw people it the pit of hell. THere are differnt types. Demon of..... In this world its ovious when there is. I know because i witness many. In bible Jesus had to rebuke one from a man. In church they rebuke them too. Basically christianity isn't areligion its just a smart truth and theories are basically a source from the devil to damage people's future.

I don't know enough about Lucifer and demons (and I don't think anyone does) to make a sincere opinion. I do however believe in possibilities. The one that seems the most strong to me is that Lucifer only disagreed with the way "God" runs things, and rebeled. If that is what demons do, then I share their opinion. I don't get why someone would want this "happiness" and "closeness to the lord". I would get very bored with being 100% happy. And I don't really get how anyone could want that. I think based on the way society looks at things, then yes, demons are evil, but I think society's a dumbass, and disagree. I think it is possible that demons give certain "negative" experiences to people to get them to learn things. It's a slap in the face. It's not "evil" just a better way of teaching someone things, and a better way of spending an eternity. I myself find manipulation amusing and see the society's downfall as hilarious, but I wonder if I am a demon, which would explain everything. But that's a different subject which I'll start a new thing for. My simple answer is possibly, but there's no way anyone can know, for even if some are, others might not be.

How would we know?Many of us have not consulted or seen a demon, so we dont know how they act. And many of us cannot fully know whether or not a demon is good or evil because of that reason.Voted for by intangableenigma.
Many of my religious peers believe that demons are evil, malicious, and messengers of the devil. But this is coming from a book -that is supposedly the word of God- and not someone who has really met one or interacted with one.
What would you believe, a book that can be rewritten into many ways, or the truth in which you have seen yourself?
I believe in demon-like creatures, but I cannot judge their behavior based on what others have told me.
How can you know the behavior of a creature if you do not know it fully? -

Lets recap the question are demons good or evil? well the point of demons being demons and angels being angels is that is the difference of good and evil names for this difference-yes they are evil or they would be angels-humans who kill,molest ect are demons in their own right-I just saw a site where children are becoming satan followers, because adults are trying to control them and their minds, and we wonder why they are killing each other and are not respectfull. we should be very afaid of this frame of mind as this is our future and we all know what they say is to come to pass in 2012!!
